Postby bbuzzard » Tue Jul 19, 2011 11:36 pm

I am a F1 newb so bear with me...Can someone explain to me how to remove the F1's clutch mount. I have the FG instructions but I am lost in translation.
TIA

A photo is worth a thousand words, a lot depends on which cluch you have. Bung a pic up and I'm sure we can help you out.

I will take a picture but it is the FG 4-shoe clutch on a Sportsline model.

In that case you should be able to just undo the center bolt and put a long bolt through between the shoes (there is/should be a threaded hole) and tighten it down untill the clutch pops off. You could also try tapping the outer edge of the clutch with a small hammer as this will some times shock it off.
