You should sticky that info....

Vette and I race on an unprepared temporary parking lot (car park) track... I was having a bit of trouble on deceleration with my car with the Vioscous being very loose... If I kept on the throttle It'd be fine, if I had to let off the gas the car would just immediately slide out... After going to no rear droop and stiffening up the front we came to the conclusion it had to be the diff...
Why do today what you can put off till next week!

Very informative post by Ian . Currently I'm running the std 4plate supplied with the sx3 07 but I was running an FG viscous but after seeing Arnaldi's car go at the worlds with the 4plate diff I put mine back in I can't really tell the difference between the two they both perform well .

I'm thinking of either trying the new version of the mag diff or the new HARM self blocking diff has anyone done any testing with these?.

Hi all
Last year we did extensive testing with different kind of Diffs. and found the Technokit Autolock diff to be very good, but by far the best was Ians Moddified Harm Mag diff. It worked in all conditions with no unusual car movements when under power or off the power.

I would expect the HARM diff to be their version of an Ian Oddie diff, would be logic as Ian is a HARM works driver (I think still is??)

Bottom line, whatever diff anyone else makes I reckon Ian can improve it so depending on your budget go with what you can afford. An email or PM to Ian will get you the information you need.

As Rob said, the latest mag diff (1511515) available from Harm has the additional extra friction plates fitted which were the mods i used to do, but it doesn't have the coil system inside
